What Kind of Love

Han Jaei is a professional guide specializing in mountains, snowy peaks, and remote regions. Kang Taeo is a partner at Black Meridian Capital, a man who seemingly has everything.

When he appears in the middle of a brutal Hokkaido winter and suddenly proposes marriage to Jaei, she cannot understand what a man like him could possibly want from someone like her.

At first, Taeo seems almost like a benefactor—someone willing to protect her and reshape her life for the better. But the closer he draws her in, the more unsettling his intentions become.

What Jaei took for kindness was calculation. What looked like protection was a carefully prepared trap.

And by the time she realizes that she may have been nothing more than bait in a much larger plan, Taeo has no intention of letting her go.
